IEEE Apsit SB is hosting ApScript Hackathon on 6th & 7th February 2020, a programming endeavor, drawing crowds from all over the country giving an opportunity to bright minds of our nation to prove their potential and win exciting prizes. IEEE APSIT Student Branch comes under IEEE Bombay Section and is recognized to be one the most proactive student branch and has been acclaimed as the upcoming branch with the most potential. Our aim is to help students achieve a successful career by providing the best opportunities and making them eligible for current world technology. Founded in 1963, IEEE is the largest technical professional organization in the world with more than 423,000 members from over 160 countries! IEEE is at the forefront of undertaking numerous initiatives worldwide. IEEE is the trusted voice for engineering, computing, and information technology around the globe. It aims to promote science and development in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, and related disciplines.

FAQ

A hackathon is a social coding event where programmers, designers, and developers collaborate to solve a problem and compete for cash prizes. It’s one part party, one part work-your-butt-off overnight battle against the clock and the competition.

People participate in hackathons for lots of reasons: the challenge, the creative outlet, the community collaboration, the networking, the swag…

This event is open to all students and young professionals from all over the world.

While experience coding and programming is a huge plus, teams will also need people with strong presentation skills and brilliant ideas.

You are encouraged to participate in the Hackathon Training Workshops. Topics, dates, and times will be announced at a later date. But other than that you are expected to learn on your own.
